Philip Brown


A standout performer at the 2011 World Junior Championships, where he picked up a bronze medal in the combined event, Brown is regarded as one of Canada’s future stars. A product of Craigleith Ski Club, the Toronto, Ont. native made his World Cup debut in giant slalom at the classic Swiss racing locale of Adelboden in 2012. In the 2012-13 season, Brown won the Nor-Am Cup giant slalom title. At the 2015 FIS World Championships in Vail/ Beaver Creek, Brown was part of the Canadian Team that nabbed second in the team event after narrowly missing the podium two years earlier. In the 2015-16 season, Brown was crowned the Canadian Champion in slalom and skied to a top-30 finish in the Beaver Creek (U.S.A.) giant slalom.
